Em, 25 I was born and raised just outside the city limits of Washington, DC. Growing up, I used to cut pictures out of magazines, to "illustrate" my own "books". Fully convinced by age 7 that I was going to become the next big sensation in fiction writing- I've always had a wild imagination. I grew up an avid reader, and developed an affinity for southern writers in high school- which greatly influenced my decision to attend the University of the South. After spending college in the south and scotland, I now make my living in the world of public radio. When I'm not producing the sound the guides commuters to work in the morning, I'm usually at home watching a good movie and knitting with my cat Sebastian. I took up knitting just a year ago and I'm happy to report that it has progressed from "hobby" to obsession. After having experienced a number of stumbles along the way in recent years I have been so pleased to note that I have some of the greatest friends in all of the world- fun, interesting and smart people, who constantly serve as a source of inspiration for all of my creative endeavors. Lately I've been getting into cooking, I can't say no to good italian cooking.
